Musical House of Commons
My friend Robyn led me to this clip wondering if the government would be prorogued if question time were a musical!

epi-motion
This is just really catchy and hilarious all at the same time! Plus it is set in San Francisco! I have yet to make it to that beach. Maybe in February or maybe March. . .

running barefoot
I am busy getting ready to go to Canada tomorrow but I have found a moment between laundry, making cookies for Ami's school tomorrow, packing and making dinner to post this.
Here is the article that goes with it, I have been wondering about barefoot running for a while as my old neighbour spent most of his time in barefeet and he also did running barefoot with his wife. The problem with a barefooted neighbour is that it is hard to enforce the idea that shoe wearing for 4 year olds is sometimes mandatory...
My neighbour had Vibram Five Fingers shoes which made him look a bit gorilla-ish and yet cool!

dancing with any body
This article is about a guy named Gregg Mozgala who has cerebral palsy and transformed his movement abilities through working with a choreographer on a dance piece. The method the choreographer used was her own intuition but it sounds remarkably similar to the Anat Baniel Method- paying close attention to your own body, learning new ways to move with out using force etc etc. It is an inspiring story and adds to the growing proof that the adult brain has remarkable capacity to change and grow. Imagine what could be possible for so many people with limitations- either known or unknown! Most interesting.
To add to the 6 degrees (or less) of separation, my friend Martha knows the son of the doctor interviewed in the video clip!
